@northumb-astro.bsky.socialAfter a 2 year hiatus, I'm making an effort to get back to astrophotography. I am using N.I.N.A for the first time tonight, just testing it out under the full moon (target - M15). It's a steep learning curve but seems really good so far (I've come from using APT).
@northumb-astro.bsky.socialIt's possible to see meteors on any night, even outside of major meteor shower periods, you just have to be lucky ! This morning the Budle Bay Meteor Cam logged 9 meteors between 00:25 and 02:45. 💫
You can view the LIVE Meteor Cams here...
@northumb-astro.bsky.socialThe Budle Bay Meteor Cam is now LIVE ! Clear skies forecast for tonight so there might be a chance of some Perseid meteors. 🤞💫
You can view it here...
@northumb-astro.bsky.socialComing soon... A new livestream from Budle Bay in north Northumberland.
This north-west facing camera has a BIG sky view, should be good for catching meteors and auroras too !
