@silverdraws.bsky.socialIt’s me in the YEP. In which I coin the phrase “plain-clothes goth”. www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/whats-on/art...
@silverdraws.bsky.socialApparently, I definitely need reading glasses now.
@silverdraws.bsky.socialToday’s goth talk was fun.
@silverdraws.bsky.socialBadges. They’re all here. Including Drighlington (BD11) and Ilkley (LS29, despite being in Bradford). leedsnomad.com/product/leed...
@writerlytone.bsky.socialReposted by @silverdraws.bsky.socialLooking forward to following this Alternative Music in Leeds audio trail over the coming days, put together by @silverdraws.bsky.social as part of the @leedscivictrust.bsky.social Heritage Open Days. Apparently I'm on it somewhere, but don't let that put you off...
@silverdraws.bsky.socialBtw, the goth lead guitar sounds stunning. Just needs a bit of Doktor Avalanche. Also very happy with the house piano. Not sure they go together all that well.
@silverdraws.bsky.socialUp early with my band Motorway City* recording the soundtrack to the Alt Music of Leeds audio trail. *just me really (so far). Motorway City exists to make music for Leeds Nomad projects, because (quite rightly), I can’t use music from other artists, such as those featured in the trail.
@silverdraws.bsky.socialEight audio interviews complete in nine days. First evening off since last Friday. Amazing recorded chats with people involved in Leeds music, telling their stories. Lots of editing to start doing from Monday for 20. Four more interviews in the diary with a few more still to hopefully confirm.
