Never trust a sock-puppet your friend makes of you. Something's always amiss with that...

It's been while since I've drawn another character of mine, Lunara, who is described as the 'Mother of the Stars' whose influence gave light to the universe.

I had a feeling I was going to make something related to #minathehollower, and what better word to do it than 'GAME'! It's such a delightful romp of a game from @yachtclubgames.bsky.social and was fun rendering out both Mina and Thorne!

Something I do for these challenges are micro trials, such as only using a certain type of Sharpie. In this case: Ultrafine point. And this scene from Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind felt like the perfect time for a minimal drawing.

Soar on the winds, Doodlers.

I always find one way or another to come back to this version of Alice in Wonderland that I have in my head. And with a word like 'Through' I could only imagine the titular character going through The Looking Glass.

Sometimes you just have that epiphany that maybe, just maybe, there's something else you could be doing with your free time. Free diving into the deep sea? No thank you. I remember drawing this tiny diver back in 2020, and I felt like bringing them back.

Always a good time when I'm able to revisit one of my favorite games from the last few years in these drawing challenges. It is very apropos to say that Chicory: A Colorful Tale had a supremely positive impact on me. I will always recommend it.

You just gotta try, Doodlers!

Something I do often for these challenges is utilize scenes from stories of mine. Lykos here is somebody I've drawn a few times, but the scene in question is new for a drawing. It is a moment of realization and brewing rage. Truly a haunting sight.

Ah yes. The time has come early to illustrate stuffs related to the TRON series, particularly in reference to the Light Cycle. The sounds, the light trails. One of my favorite vehicles from fiction!

While not my go-to genre, Dolly Parton's influence on the both 'Country' music/media was a landmark achievement. Truly one of the greats. Drew 14 stars in the sky, 9 diamonds and 5 dots, for all the time you're workin'~

Having a Paranoid Pirate as your mentor really stunts the whole sea-fairing life, that's for sure. For 'Place' I was stumped, but my brain went "a place... like a spot... x marks those" and bam, I'm drawing my favorite Axolotl character, Al'ece.

Alright! Kicking off Don't Ink Twice with some kick drums! In the 9 years of this month-long challenge, I'm shocked that I've never drawn a Muppet! Hard to not love the absolute chaos that is 'Animal'; this is the first time I've ever drawn him!

Here we go, Doodlers!

It's the return of the month-long illustration challenge: Don't Ink Twice! I'm given a list of words, I don't see the day's word until I sit down to draw; whatever comes to mind is my subject!

The challenge begins OCT 1st, Doodlers!
