@chribue.bsky.socialThe head of the search comittee took me aside and asked me why I would continue to work on my cellular model of choice. I would fit so much better if I would also work on the model system everyone else was working on. This was after I received the offer. I declined. Both.

All the information is there, but the reality- how you got there, which wrong turns you made, all that is not part of the story that is told in the paper. There are hints; if you read carefully, you find them.
