@melanieward.bsky.socialI’m a big fan of Matt Forde’s shows and it was a real pleasure to appear on his Political Party podcast.
We talked about why I’m political, why I’m Labour, fabulous Fife, being Minister for Scotland, my work overseas, karaoke and lots more besides.

@melanieward.bsky.socialWhat a great buzz at Labour conference this year!
Great to be up speaking to the BBC this morning about our government’s plans to drive change across Scotland and the UK #HopeAgain
@melanieward.bsky.socialGreat session out on the doors yesterday with Sagal Abdi-Wali, our fantastic Labour candidate in the upcoming Holborn & St Pancras by-election. People were tooting their horns in support and coming over to wish her luck 🌹
@melanieward.bsky.socialIn July I did this interview about the difference between Keir Starmer and Andy Burnham on Palestine and Israel. Such a relief that today we draw a line and move forwards with meaningful action in support of international law, a two state solution and what is right.
