I dunno, man. I think the Jaguar Type 01 looks kinda like a modernized 6000 SUX.

@octothorpe The Red Shoes! :-)
I take it every iOS developer is submitting Duo builds which is making the notary service run *really* slowly right nowâŚ
Well, this is certainly ominous news for backup programs.

Like itâs not hard *enough* to turn this stuff onâŚ
@RoboticistDuck we shall see
@RoboticistDuck Well, sapphire would be fine.
The fact that the top layer is easily and inexpensively replaced on the iPhone Duo says to me that itâs quite soft and the matte finish is not durable. Probably even worse if you start using a pen with itâŚ
Iâm not sure this is better than the original Daniel Miller version, but itâs definitely a solid cover:

As an FYI, if youâve made a bootable backup, SuperDuper! 4 *does* copy the SystemKeys, even if SIP is on. It canât update them with Smart Update, but theyâre appropriately preserved.

The Pillow Book kind of did the same thing, but more successfully.
@octothorpe Anyway, his run from the shorts all the way to Cook/Thief is pretty remarkable. I didnât especially like Prosperoâs Books, thought The Baby of Macon was kind of odious, and The Pillow Book was betterâŚbut at that point Iâd tired a bit of his clear distaste for his audience (and for [âŚ]
@octothorpe I was introduced to Greenaway in a college semiotics course; we spent quite a lot of time on The Falls and A Walk Through H, before he released his first theatrical film. (If you like Greenaway, all his shorts are worth a viewâI think BFI released them on DVD at one point.)
@octothorpe You definitely should. It has not lost any of its power.
