Husband & I just had the scare of a lifetime coming home after dark. Heading up the st. leading to ours, no streetlights when we spot a woman standing in the middle of the st. with her arms down at her sides a la Carrie White. Called in a wellness check & hoping she's okay.

At 25, within a month's time, my grandmother died, my relationship ended & then I was hit by an SUV while crossing the street. After sailing through the air and landing in a twisted heap on the pavement I started to laugh because that was a chef's kiss ending to that trying time- that's GenX humor.

Evil Dead's mixture of horror with humor worked because Gen X was the target audience and we appreciate that cynicism. Evil Dead Burn felt like it followed the fatal flaw of the Jaws franchise by focusing on the family (um, latchkey?) & then gave us an unexplored lore dump.

It was so lovely to see you, I had a lovely time hanging out on the adult-sized cat beds and chatting and laughing about life. You are always welcomed to join us in our adventures!

Discussing OBSESSION with husband & the potential for sequels I think it could work if they chose another of the 7 deadly sins to explore. It would be a way to not cheapen the message of the original while further exploring the interplay between morality, free will & autonomy.

Thank you! On one of my visits I had about 10 birds perched on me while I was petting a deer next to me and a squirrel was using my leg to stand upright. A group of kids on a snowshoeing field trip came up the trail & just stopped dead in their tracks. It was amazing!

My friend Joe took this amazing photo of me feeding the chickadees at one of my favorite local parks. It's one of my favorite places to go when I need to recenter myself, especially when I have the winter blahs.
