@leeirv.bsky.social
West Midland exile down in south Oxfordshire. Following #WBA here, there and everywhere. Forever living the dream
@leeirv.bsky.socialCouldn't agree more. Sky engineer told me the satellite which provides tv coverage goes out of service in 2027, which is why they're pushing the stream. Just creates a load of unnecessary annoyance and pain!
@leeirv.bsky.socialHEGGEBOOOOOOOO. Never doubted you 😅 great three points and great resilience shown after going 1 down, especially given recent results. Delighted with that! #wba
@leeirv.bsky.socialI also feel the same about Heggebo. Yes he's badly out of form, but we hardly play to his strengths. I think Stewart has offered ever so slightly more so far tonight than Heggebo did against Blues
@leeirv.bsky.socialSky Stream is an absolute pile of dog shit. Needs rebooting pretty much every time before it works. The playlist is a load of bollocks, and no recordings is a huge miss. Feels like they've taken a solid product, penny pinched left right and centre, and dished up a shocker. Horrendous
@leeirv.bsky.socialWould absolutely take a point. Stop the rot
@leeirv.bsky.socialGood question. Stewart for Heggebo. Campbell for a Phillips. I'd be tempted to drop JJM for Price. Think we should stick with a midfield three of Collyer, Nzingoula and Diakite. How about you? #wba
@leeirv.bsky.socialAnother frustrating derby day performance from #wba today. Heggebo looks absolutely shot, needs to be taken out of the firing line for his own sake. Think we also missed Price, despite FHM being decent first half. Big test for Mozza now, he's certainly earnt some time and patience from us all
@leeirv.bsky.socialGone a different way to the ground today, train and tram, and the tram has a fair few pissed up blooz fans on already. With the vile at home this afternoon as well, could be lively in town later. Sure west mids were happy with this scheduling... #wba
@leeirv.bsky.socialMissed out on a bloody #oasis ticket. Was lucky enough to get a code, but didn't join the queue until 1 as was driving. Was 4k in the queue, but still couldn't get a ticket for Knebworth. Gutted, but I went last year so not completely devastated. If anyone knows of any spares though give me a shout!
@leeirv.bsky.socialAgreed. Very poor all round. Still feeling quite deflated about it
@leeirv.bsky.socialUnfortunately so. Think he might be the spurs reporter. And she'll have trouble cleaning it up as he gleefully dives in after yesterday.
@leeirv.bsky.socialThat rant from Spiers on his podcast, from a professional journalist who you'd have thought would need to go to the Albion sometimes, is unhinged. Wouldn't surprise me if the Albion banned him, not that I'm for it or think they should, but those comments will incite anger/abuse if he's there again
@leeirv.bsky.socialI'd be very happy with a point. Although think JJM or Raby might need to tread carefully tomorrow, the ref is very card happy! Although I'm more concerned about leaving the ground 😂 #wba
@leeirv.bsky.socialGod it's hard not to get carried away with this #wba side isn't it!
@leeirv.bsky.socialGood news on Whitwell's new contract. Very bright future ahead of him if he can a) stay fit, b) stay grounded c) keep developing. I'm quite optimistic about this squad over the next few years, if they can stay together. Think us fans also need to give them some time & patience next 12-18 months #wba
@leeirv.bsky.socialThought we deserved the three points yesterday, we had to grind it out but we also restricted Watford to only a couple of chances. Raby and Whitwell the stand outs for me. Think Galves played well, and seems to be getting some unfair stick - him and Heggebo the new scapegoats it appears! #wba
@leeirv.bsky.socialMy favourite bit of the Athletic story on Collyer joining #wba "the majority of add ons are said to be achievable, but some pertain to West Brom being in the Premier League and Europe" 😂 decent signing, if he stays fit. With Kunde in, think we need a CB and CF, and it'll be a good window for me
@leeirv.bsky.socialOff to the cricket today, for my first visit to Lords. Looking forward to it, and the rain radar shows we should get a decent amount of play in. Hope we win the toss and bowl first!
