@rinnyremmy.bsky.socialTheir soul link lets them find each other, but La'hi could also ask if Yuri needs to "replenish her aether." The real one would laugh at the callback. For Yuri to find La'hi, she'd swear up a storm and threaten to kick her ass. Whoever looks like they fell in love all over again is the real La'hi.
@rinnyremmy.bsky.socialThe witch looks at you as if your paths were fated to cross, though you get the feeling she orchestrated your meeting.
@rinnyremmy.bsky.socialIn the same note, she believes that fusing with him to save her own life was her cheating death in an unforgivable way, and she genuinely thinks it was on par with some of the actions done by Ascians. 2/2
@rinnyremmy.bsky.socialParts of Gabriel's personality and behaviors became Yuri's after she absorbed and fused with him, and it's made Yuri feel less like herself. Despite outside assurance she's barely changed, she doesn't believe it, especially since she also got his memories. 1/2
@rinnyremmy.bsky.socialLa'hi is smug about it, like "yeah, she's mine, what about it." Everyone else is wondering if Yuri's feeling alright, as blatant PDA is often a red flag; chances are she's ill or hadn't slept well in too long, or she's completely drunk, either way she's probably not thinking clearly.

@rinnyremmy.bsky.socialYeeeeeeah, don't do that. XD Yuri reacts badly. Like, she's at best openly chewed people out when it wasn't intentionally derogatory. If it WAS, well... That person's fucked. A few Ishgardians learned the hard way during HW.

@rinnyremmy.bsky.socialMy average typing speed isn't terrible. Not great, not terrible. The problem is I make a LOT of typos, which slows me down pretty badly.

@rinnyremmy.bsky.socialGonna try to write, though I've been in a massive mood to watch Van Helsing again (one of my favorite movies from childhood) and might get distracted by that. I also should get some groceries, but that depends on if I can get myself out of the house LOL

@rinnyremmy.bsky.socialYuri buried the idea of it until Zenos finally flushed it out of her in EW, but yes. She truly is a hero and fights for the sake of others because she feels it's the right thing to do, but that thrill is often what kept her going. She considered feeding her inner beast as reward for her good deeds.
