Many people have a strange reluctance to use their own brains.

Or even, as many writers do, let AI do part of the writing. The ideas gathering. Or the Plotting. Or the Structuring. Or the Drafting. Or the Revising. Or the Proofreading... Usually with the excuse, 'I just use it for [insert] and the justification, 'because I don't have the time.' 😆

Of course, it's a fine line. I have asked AI to give me a list of synonyms for 'dismal' to describe a deteriorated industrial town. When I picked one of those synonyms to use in my story, was I using AI for writing?

The one in Graceland is the one he actually drove. But Elvis was temporarily the owner of a lot of cadillacs. He purchased many to give as gifts to family and friends. So technically, he owned those for at time. It's possible (though unlikely) that one of them made its way here.

Jam and Rakia - without the work of harvesting, making jam, preserving jam, washing the sticky utensils afterwards, rakia-distilling... sounds like a bargain! :-)

I can confirm that in German (my native language), it's worse. Google Translate doesn't take a clue from the context. It mixes the formal and informal in a single sentence, so it's guaranteed to be wrong.
