as someone who speedruns this game, this hurts me more than you can imagine 😭😭😭

💜🤍🖤 Ace Fox

This Just In: Retro Mario Speedrunner (who literally has a sub 9 in SMB2U any%) completes a 2U All Levels playthrough for the very first time. We don't know why or how he has never done this before..... but lowkey we get it this game's hard (curse you limited continues) 💀 This took too long to do 😭

I'm finally free from mandatory OT at my job, YAYYYYYYYY

Metroid Zero Mission!!!! Glad I finally played through this one! Some of the item locations were brutal as hell to obtain, no shot I was getting everything without a walkthrough. Overall short but fantastic entry :3

Yeah ig I just never really talked to people about it. My completion list includes NES Metroid, Super, Fusion, Dread, & all 4 Prime games. Started Zero Mission a while back but meant to play through it. Hunters I haven't played, and I never owned Samus Returns (played a tiny bit of Metroid 2 GB)

Seeing so many people online become excited over Metroid in 2026, with several people finally giving the franchise a shot and loving it, brings a tear to my eye. I used to dream for moments like this

One of the more specifically brutal things about this year has been how most of the SMB friends I made early on in my speedrunning life have become such drastically different people, to where they've entirely broken off into something away from the game, and away from me. I need new friends. :(

tell me about it

(As an aside, my physical health has been quite rocky but slowly improving. I believe I will be in good shape by October, but nothing is guaranteed. I will do my best to hang in there until then ^_^)
