@edent.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gyReposted by @cheeaun.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gy🆕 blog! “I paid people to try and follow my README” Developers suck at writing documentation. We like to say RTFM but often there ain't no FM to R. At best we have a half-arsed collection of notes, some obsolete tips, and a link to a desolate forum full of people asking the same questions again […]
@cheeaun.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gy@cheeaun.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gy🤔 2 cents: - "Bookmark" saves a *reference* but it gives the impression that you need to organize them later. - "Save" saves a *copy* but it gives the impression that you can just look it up later. - Logically, “Save” sounds wrong because saved posts are kinda ephemeral — they can be edited […]
@cheeaun.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gy🔬 "Bookmark" vs "Save" research:
Sites using "Save": IG, Reddit, Threads, Bsky, FB, StackOverflow, Pinterest, TikTok

@cheeaun.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gy🐛 Another version with a bug fix just released https://github.com/cheeaun/phanpy/releases/tag/2026.10.06.bb8c326
Possibly affecting users on iOS 26.5/27 onwards; attaching media via the menu in composer wasn't working (attaching via button works).
