As an intern, I had women walking directly beneath me and letting their children/grandkids run below me while I perched on a full height ladder painting things hanging from the ceiling… Truly a special place 🫶

Anyway, having seen the usual clientele in the spring/summer months, I knew being thrown in with barely any training on Black Friday would be a nightmare, so no regrets, shove it Anthropologie

The awkward part is that since I had been a visual merchandising intern for months, I knew a lot of the people incl. management there! They just massively misrepresented the available hours during the interview process. I was really apologetic, and then they hit me with that 😂

Hired at Anthropologie after interning for a term. Did a 4hr training shift. Told my next shift would be 3 weeks later on Black Friday and was only guaranteed 4-8hrs a week. I quit over email. Was told I had to come in person to view the employee phone list + find someone to cover my single shift.

I snorted 😂😭

people overthink what “improve your writing” means. reading and writing consistently is better than sitting around waiting for the perfect writing to come by. you REALLY need to get comfortable and make a welcoming space for bad writing if you want good fics.
