Yeeeeeaaaaahhhhhh
Last night I painted the nerd and moved him into clown territory. Tonight he shall debut properly, his wardrobe is already assembled and I’m really looking forward to it!
Thanks! Time for more villainy!
Last night I tried a proper session with the new Mindmagic Studios Professor. The eye covers really do make a difference, taking them out gives a rather different effect. I will wear a small beanie next time as that will tighten up the mask around my chin and jaw, making the overall movement better.
Mind Magic Studios presents… The Professor! UK based silicone mask company. This is a mask I had been eyeing for quite some time and finally ordered in late September. Arrived safely today and I tried it on briefly before work. This will be a most interesting mask, lots to explore here!
He could use some lip color and eyebrows again, but yeah I could be happy with this pallid look certainly. Working in a basement computer lab would render anyone that colorless!
Yeah the base paint I used was very light fleshtone, though the original was light to begin with. He needs some color contouring and shaping to make him less flat.
Brief late night nerding Took profiles to see if I decide to clownify him.
Had a good session with Griggs last night, these pics were taken around 7:10 this morning before going to sleep proper. I finally am seeing how I want to repaint him now, if it works out it will be excellent!
Picked and washed tomatoes
Burnt to a crisp!
The last of the old kitchen sink cabinet
Chip dabs
Seen at Kroger on the clearance shelf.
I found two of them at a local upcycling hardware store. They both could use some sanding and a repaint, or I can keep one looking rough with the other getting the glowup. I will have other hammers of varying sizes come into play soon.
Party clown and ragged dandy costume tests. Between these and the roughie version (previous post) I have to factor into how the new face paint will look. From brusque to pseudo-refined he has a lot of range. Challenge!
Roughie costume test for the repaired clown mask. Using this to figure out what his new face paint will look like. Two more looks to display!
Can’t wait to see it!
I saw the $12 coupon and didn’t scroll to the actual price, oops! And yes this looks like it can use a paint do over, after you’re finished it will be a massive improvement!
