This was Machado after his follow through on his 8th inning fly out to Mitchell at the wall. Blowing bubbles.

Great story, great musical.

By all accounts, he was a very good man. I once tried to work for him

Wow! This is great. I don't remember this.

Yes, I was thin and kinda looked like an outdoors guy. Transition aviator glasses, mullet, faux wood panel station wagon....Lot there.

Found the only picture i have of me wearing my 1976 white White Sox hat. With my brother before taking off on a backpacking trip (in Yellowstone Park probably?). I think the hat was only a year old at the time...Nice belt buckle. Also pics of Sox in those hats and a game worn (?) I saw online.

Ohhhhh.....the rare white hats!! I think someone (Red Sox?) complained that the pitched ball was camouflaged in the white of the hat. I used to have one......and now I don't. 😢🤷🏼

Haha! Maybe cuz I'm the only one who would care to know its history! 😁 Is the B side a Lurlean Hunter song called Palm Chant?

This is delightful....and the red vinyl!! Who's the singer?

Now that we know the Sox will host AT LEAST two playoff games, is it time to secure Nancy Faust's services for extended organ music in Bridgeport this October?
