I'd like Neon Pantheon to go to print after the next 3 tracks. That'll be a good "Volume 1" as well as the origin story for 2 very gay superheroes. So, that means I'll be knocking on some doors soon. If you know a publisher who'd be interested in a Ringo Award winning comic, feel free to reach out

I could see Mike Flanagan finding the perfect way to do a send-up of unnecessary Stephen King movie sequels. Let’s see him give Midnight Mass the Pet Sematary 2 treatment!

Mii character creator lookin-ass coward

Are you going to change your handle to BarBee Kahn now?

This is awesome!!! Congratulations Bee!!!

So...I have some news.

Today on the return of Transcending Comics, we're joined by @charlottefierro.bsky.social and Zack from Extra Issues and @mymarvelousyear.bsky.social to discuss Boys Run the Riot! This was my first time reading a manga with textual trans masc representation, and it's absolutely worth a read!

I’m dying at “The Long Submarine” 😂 I want to know whose idea that title was, and how they came to it.

To this day, I’m positive Pennywise would take the form of the troll from Ernest Scared Stupid if he were trying to terrorize me at any age.

Wow, the next issue of Power Rangers is taking a sharp turn 👀

The performers and video game events are more of a focus than the vendor hall, but I find it refreshing that anyone looking at my stuff has intentionally gone out of their way to check out the vendors. I think your IP related books (MLP especially) would do really well with this crowd!

While I’m pretty sure I’m the only one currently selling comics there, do check out VGM in Minneapolis. It’s a video game music convention unlike any other con I’ve been to! It’s very independent and fairly small, but there’s a lot of interesting stuff going on throughout.

I thought that was just a pen name for a collective of hungry artists trying (successfully) to sell more book. Turns out, I was only half right on that assumption.

I remember picking out the original Marvel Legends figure of Colossus, knowing nothing about the character. I’ve had an affinity for any character with shoulder pads ever since!

Reading this now but I tell you what, they better not do anything too drastic to my favorite character, the man Alec Holland. I swear to god if some crazy revelation happens regarding the status of the human being who is a swamp monster Alec Holland I’m gonna lose my shit! 😤
