"The form is never just paperwork. It's a stand-in for a conversation you're not in the room for. Every unclear question, every missing instruction, doesn't just disappear, it gets pushed onto the person filling it out."
- CODE PA's Sara Hall at #FormFest

"People hate—as they should—being asked for the same piece of information more than once...it ends up being easy to miss your form’s redundancy when you’re not the one filling it out."
- The Lab @ DC's Karissa Minnich at #FormFest

"A legislature can pass a benefit. An agency can establish a program. A team can build an entirely new system. But for the person trying to get help, that entire promise may come down to a form."
- @codeforamerica.org's @amandarenteria.bsky.social at #FormFest

"Forms can determine whether someone gets health care, feeds their family, files their taxes, enrolls a child in school, clears an old record, opens a business, or receives help after a disaster."
- Beeck Center's Executive Director @lynnovermann.bsky.social at #FormFest

Our Executive Director @lynnovermann.bsky.social kicks off #FormFest alongside @codeforamerica.org's @amandarenteria.bsky.social by phoning a few of their favorite form friends, including CODE PA's Sara Hall and The Lab @ DC's Karissa Minnich!
