Six RCSI researchers have been awarded more than €2.5 million through the HRB Investigator-Led Projects scheme.
The projects will advance research across epilepsy, osteoarthritis, breast cancer, mental health and emerging drug threats.
RCSI has launched the Green Theatre Accreditation Scheme, developed with support from the HSE Climate and Sustainability Programme.
The scheme will help hospitals reduce the environmental impact of surgery while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Congratulations to Dr Felipe Contepomi, head coach of the Argentina national rugby team and renowned former international rugby player, who was awarded an Honorary Fellowship of RCSI's Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine. Dr Contepomi returned to RCSI for the ceremony, having graduated in 2007.
