@natureconservation.pensoft.netCroatia’s native crucian carp was once widespread in lowland waters. After a century of river regulation, the invasive gibel carp dominates, and the native #fish survives only in a few isolated oxbows and channels. This new study traces the shift from 1883 to 2025.
