Treated myself to a pizza in Santa Cruz after the flu shot. Simple pizza, salad and fountain soda ran to $55 (tip included). I think I need to find a less expensive way to self-comfort.

One unacknowledged benefit of the flu shot is the throbbing pain in your shoulder is a brilliant distraction from the sundry aches and pains emanating from the rest of your body.
