@erniechiara.comHappiest of birthdays to C.L. Polk! One of the few authors who I buy everything they write. And you should too.
@erniechiara.com🙏
@erniechiara.comWelp, it’s closing time, y’all. In the 8 days I was open to new queries, I received 601 and have already responded to all of them. I requested 12 full manuscripts for a rate of 2% they were: 7 Adult fantasy, 3 YA fantasy, 1 Adult Sci-fi, and 1 Spec Lit Fic. I’m looking forward to reading them!
@erniechiara.comNow I’m going to close at 601 just to get an extra one in. 😂
@erniechiara.comHa! Thanks. And good luck!
@erniechiara.comDon’t feel guilty! That’s the process. I’ve only requested 10 fulls out of 600. But I want to see them all because you never know!
@erniechiara.comI’m 32 queries away from 600 for the week. Last chance to get your queries in before I close for the year!
@erniechiara.comYes, absolutely.
@erniechiara.comThis week’s episode of Dark Matter is absolutely phenomenal. And seeing Linda Bove from Sesame Street, now 80, acting her ass off was the cherry on top. It made my xenial heart full. 🥹 Emmy award-worthy performance by Linda.
@jendiagammon.bsky.socialReposted by @erniechiara.comI co-edited this with fantastic @erniechiara.com, and it's Ozsome! 11 great stories exploring the different regions and characters of Oz, each with something unexpected and unique! Has a story by me in it also.
@erniechiara.comIf anyone’s interested, I’m over 200 queries in a day and a half. 3 full requests so far! ☺️
@erniechiara.comThanks for letting me know. I’ve just corrected it, but I’ll be sure look out for yours.
