“We’re not there yet … at all. I talk to him every day. Every day he tells me he feels good. Every day we’re increasing the workload in terms of contact. But are we ready to say that? No. Not even close.”

Fs Max McCue, Roman Ahcan and Tate Singleton have been sent to AHL Cleveland, which opens camp Wednesday.

F Owen Griffith has been returned to OHL Guelph.

Now 45 players - 24F, 15D, 6G - remain in camp.

#CBJ will go over power play and penalty kill in today’s Day 5 of training camp. Between the two sessions, the two groups will scrimmage at 10 am in Nationwide.
