Merp had a few Monty Python references in,a prime example was recognising trees, no1 The Larch.

Time slipping between the 60s and 1944,underground chambers and a massive church. Fantastic. The evening game completely put me out of my comfort zone. Witch the road to Lindisfarne, No dice, the game was player driven, creating a story around themed acts. It was brilliant.

So my 1st day at #Furnace. Bloody brilliant tbh. Played Dungeon Crawler Carl ,absolute blast. The GM caught the chaos of the dungeon perfectly. All the players were Ace. Second game was Hellboy, another hugely fun game, the scenario made me feel like we were in the 1st film. Nazi soldiers,

A bit like Alan Rickman in Dogma?

The GM also told me he knew my food was good, because he served it in the dementia unit, usually there's quite a bit of noise from the residents, utter silence as they were eating quietly and very little waste came back.I have basically adapted my restaurant food for elderly people. It's rewarding.

My 2 week review was actually good,I told them I didn't want any objectives or chats etc. My boss said ok no worries, we have to do this every 3 months, but it'll be quick and we won't put any objectives down. I was pleasantry surprised.

Or travel further to buy cheaper fuel, but it costs more in fuel to drive there and back than they save, speaking from experience (only once)

Yea. I just want to go into work, cook food and come home, why is that so hard for people to understand? Also I liked my freedom when I worked as an agency chef. Now I'm on a 4 day straight, each day is 12 hours, then I get a day off and then back for another day. I had the freedom to choose before.

Just chatting to another chef, made me realise that working in a charity is not for me. The old folks are ok,but I've been there less than 2 weeks and I have to fill out what objectives I want to achieve. How about,I'm 56 and my objectives are to have no objectives. I can't be arsed with corporate BS

Memory unlocked! I had a argument with a taxi driver who came into the petrol station the wrong way as pushed in front of me.

I like to mix mayo and salad cream, 50/50 ratio. Tangy yet creamy yet tangy....go on you know you want to!

Recently a group of history lovers went on a proper Medieval pilgrimage!
They walked 21km, from Uppsala to Alsike!
All in accurate clothing, with superb replica props, etc.

1 x Firecracker plant harvest. Much better than last year where over 60% were unripe. Plenty of Mexican dishes these can go in.
