Shipping's biofuel demand could hit 40% of marine fuel by 2050. Without stronger land-use rules, that scale risks pushing agriculture into forests and driving up food prices. ⚓️
The window to get this right is narrowing.
The ICCT had a great time last week at #ClimateWeekNYC 2026! 📸
Across several events, we had engaging, productive conversations with partners working to advance clean mobility.
Thank you to the Crux Alliance and all our event partners, speakers, and participants for making it such a great week!

NEW ANALYSIS: Charging hubs in a small share of locations could cover most energy demand from electric trucks across Europe. 🚛 The ICCT and @fraunhoferisi.bsky.social have quantified charging demand from battery electric trucks across the EU, Norway, Switzerland, and the UK between 2030 and 2045. ⚡
Today at #ClimateWeekNYC, ICCT’s Tim Dallmann joined the “Win-Win Policies: Unlocking Investment for a Sustainable Future" session.
Thank you to ITDP, CLASP, Propel Clean Energy Partners, Crux Alliance, speakers and participants for a thoughtful and engaging conversation. 🤝
