I was also so excited to recognize Mark Gale with the 2026 Stigma Buster Award for his years of advocacy helping people experiencing a mental health crisis get connected to care and support.

I joined Mental Health Hook-Up for Stop the Stigma, where local organizations came together to connect families with mental health resources and support.

Such a fun weekend at the 23rd Annual Duck Dash! It was great seeing our community come together for a day of fun while supporting Samuel Dixon Family Health Center and the important work they do to make quality medical, behavioral, and mental health care more accessible for local families.

Thank you to the historians, volunteers, and community members who continue working to preserve the stories of struggles and triumphs to make sure future generations understand the history that happened right here in the SCV.
