@rachelcholst.bsky.socialJoin this rogues' gallery of ridiculous background characters by Angela Boyle when you back Artema: The Guardian on Kickstarter today!
@rachelcholst.bsky.socialFour issues in and Artema can't help but start fights. Again. Maybe she's figured it out this time?
Back the next issue of my comic Artema -- we're 42% in after just three days! Angela Boyle's art keeps getting better and better -- so you can't miss this one!
@scumbelievable.bsky.socialReposted by @rachelcholst.bsky.socialSo my friend @wendyxu.bsky.social has been suspended, no reason given, and thus can't promote her popular procreate brush for colored pencils on here. Maybe we can help her out.

@rachelcholst.bsky.socialWho doesn't love a queer fantasy action comic? How about one about trauma, exile, and return? How about one with non-linear timelines?
With issue 4, Artema tries to start a new life, but her past (and future) keep catching up with her...
@rachelcholst.bsky.socialOh gosh that means a lot. I also name checked you in the essay if you want me to send a PDF ;)
@rachelcholst.bsky.socialAs a genre, Americana is vulnerable to being ill-defined, vulnerable to those who want to make a quick buck, and – perhaps the most taboo in the entertainment industry – Boomer-coded. Here's how it happened -- new on @RainbowRodeo.bsky.social
@rachelcholst.bsky.socialArtema tells the story of a woman who's a little too enthusiastic about defending her pacifist community. It's about trauma, exile, and moving forward...with lots of fighting, Sapphic smooching, non-linear timelines, and gorgeous art by Angela Boyle!

@rachelcholst.bsky.social@kellysue.bsky.social I am honored that we're mutuals and I don't know why but I will shamelessly tag you and I'm sorry if that is annoying! I will understand if you find it obnoxious 👉👈
@rachelcholst.bsky.socialAlready at 28%! Who wants to get it to a nice even 33?
@rachelcholst.bsky.socialArtema is BACK for another chapter -- this queer action fantasy comic takes us through multiple timelines as our heroine learns how to grapple with exile and come into her own.

@disabilitystor1.bsky.socialReposted by @rachelcholst.bsky.socialThey sound like a cross between a fire and brimstone "preacher" who owns three private planes and two yachts and tells you you absolutely MUST believe in him/Him and also pay for the luxury of it, but also the worst, most desperate late night commercials for things you would never want
@rachelcholst.bsky.socialAgreed! It's hard to read on mobile. Love the carousel of articles :)
