11 1/2. Halloween The slasher to start it all, and it shows. Act one and act two are a damn slog. Act three? I was HOOKED! Unlike the other slashers, this felt like an actual dangerous man trying to kill people and it was so uncomfortable to watch! So glad he didn’t get ruined by a million sequels~

10. Scream 6 Had it’s flaws, but it’s still perfectly average. Any glaring issues can be forgiven due to that FANTASTIC ladder scene! If this was the final movie, I would’ve honestly been content with it! Best Scream to worst Scream 1>5>4>6>3>2 No, I’m not reviewing Scream 7, fuck off~❤️

9. X Thematic debauchery, horrific brutalizing gore, one of my favorite psychological slashers out there. It takes all of the terrible horror tropes and makes them fantastic. This is still my personal favorite movie in the X trilogy. It’s art, truly. The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

8. Scream 5 The closest this franchise has ever gotten to being as good as the first movie. Our two leads are fantastic and the upscaled gore is tantalizing as hell. The reveal for the first Ghostface might be the best reveal in the franchise, like made me burst out laughing. Loved them~

7. Scream 4 HOW THE FUCK WAS THIS ONLY RATED 61%?! This is a genuinely good movie, I don’t see why people who were ok with Scream one aren’t ok with this one. The cast is fantastic, every single member. The main Ghostface honestly rivals is the main Ghostface in One imho. Fuck you~!❤️

6. Scream 3 Relatively better than Scream 2 but still not one of my favorite movies. Still the absolute worst Ghostface and Jesus Christ Gale Weathers’s bangs are fucking awful, but it had a nice setting at least. At least they had the balls to commentate on Hollywood grooming culture.

There’s something so special about the idea of a prey having to choose between the gamble of going inside of a warm stomach and freezing to death. It’s a concept I’m adding to my next story. Oh yeah, in case you’re wondering, I would choose that fox stomach.

5. Scream 2 We stopped paying attention around halfway through this rewatch— All the scream movies (Haven’t seen 7) are all S tier movies, but Scream 2 will forever be a B+ in my book. Easily the worst Scream out of the true 6
