This week in the Hudson Compound - lots of recent releases but also deep dives into a handful of new box sets. Plus, I was in the mood for some Jesus and Mary Chain.

Awesome!!!

That's a tough one that varies over time. Sometimes it's Everybody Knows..., other times it can be After the Gold Rush, Tonight's the Night, Comes a Time, Rust Never Sleeps, Ragged Glory, etc.

This was not easy...and honestly if I made it again tomorrow it would probably be completely different.

Best story of the day.

This week the Hudson Compound was dominated by new releases, which explains the many blank artwork spots the program couldn't find. I also dived into the new Beatles and Costello boxes, and I just had to celebrate the birthday of my #3 fave album!

Yes, that extra "e" in "The" is always an indicator of greatness!!!

We love The Ledge. They were the first radio show to spin our stuff and believe in us. Plus, they play just awesome music. You can hear our brand new single on the new episode!

Awww that made my night!!!

This week's RIA chart!!!

My #3 favorite album of all time!

For you Big Brother alumni fans, tonight's premiere of Still Flipping Out includes Britney Haynes during scenes of Jeff Lewis' radio show.

I saw the clip on TikTok. If I didn't know who I was looking for (or where in the scene) I would have never noticed her.

Oh wow, that was a fabulous night! I spent a good portion of the night hanging w/drummer Mike Heidorn. And Jay told me he liked my shirt...but scampered away when he found out I was a writer.

This week the Hudson Compound was all in with the new Elliott Smith biography. That, of course, led me to playing a bunch of Heatmiser and Smith records. Plus, quite a few new releases!

I didn't even watch and can tell the two apart.

it's hilarious that the insane fan base is finally realizing that not everything the big pop star releases is gold.
