I will never downplay the pain of post surgery recovery. What was a simple act becomes a Herculean exercise after surgery. Props to anyone going through it like I am.

One last joke, did my body miss my balls (gender affirming surgery) so it made gallstones to replace them? Don't tell the kidneys please!!!

You can no longer say I've got some gall because I no longer have a gallbladder. 🤣

I wouldn't have wished to stay longer as I'm a caretaker my parents, but everyone has agreed it's better for me to get this resolved than to try and fly in pain. It had gotten so severe. Hopefully this post makes sense cause I don't know what I'm on. But I'm on the road to recovery.

Now just need to recover and get better. I will be staying for a few more weeks to get better. My partner is lovingly taking on the role of caretaker.

Well that wasn't on my bingo card for this year. Just had emergency gullbladder surgery in the U.K. Was in extreme pain and was the best course of action. Very impressed with the NHS staff who have put copious notes to make sure I get gendered correctly and apologized when they got it wrong.

This is my 3rd pride event today, Scarborough Pride, but the first one with my partner and his first. It's fun seeing so many different people with different gender and orientation expressions. Pride is a protest and a party.
