This is the year the 10 year old gets to make the majority of her own halloween costume! I made the teeth and stitched them onto her hoodie, so now this weekend she gets to go crazy with fabric paint.

I hate that they did that to her. Let her know every line she puts to paper is an act of resistance and I’m very proud of her for speaking out to begin with. Even if I’m just some rando online.

As in the teacher fed it into ai?! I’d be in that office full on scorched earth. I had a melt down when one of my teachers came over and marked up my art that was unrelated to the class. It was a free period, and he was “helping” I cussed him out. My kid is also very vocal about her hate towards ai.

I’m going to be that real annoying parent on this topic. Art programs get cut first, always. They were getting slashed as I was working my way thru school. Every time I would get close to a course I was excited for, it was gone when it was my turn. Looking at you high school photography😒

Told them to look up data center noise pollution. Asked them why they are teaching kids that plagiarism is fine, that the environment shouldn’t be protected, that thinking and creating isn’t worth it. Asked where else in her education they cut corners.
