I heard the closest Carpenter ever got to giving away the who is the thing of the story was him being frustrated that movie audiences that were tested HATED Mac being a monster. So clearly Carpenter WANTED him to be one. Whether or not he actually is, we'll never know.

My favorite theory is that either both MacReady and Childs are THINGS or neither is at the end. I believed the Mac theory until watching this week and realizing my man had a warehouse of J&B bottles that he could've been going through.

As promised for reaching the final donothon goal, you all get to enjoy this special sneak peek at my 2.0 redesign!

Does the zombie apocalypse really seem so bad?

-

This character sheet was made by @hootvt.bsky.social! He knocked it out of the park 🙏 Commission him or I'll steal your kidneys.

Character sheet for the Scarlet Magus, a masc person with silver hair, red eyes, and piercings. They wear a black outfit with cunty boots and a long red coat. They look like they haven't slept in days (they haven't) Text reads: "The Scarlet Magus. A human mage with no recollection of their origin. Their first memory is of waking up on the shores of a fetid molten lake in the bowels of Hell. Both careful and impulsive, patient and manic, they work tirelessly towards starting the zombie apoclypse, in hopes of ending all life on Earth, Heaven, and Hell." and "The one thing not visible on Magus's person is the septagram tattoo on their back. Each point of the star has an Enochian word of power, while Infernal runes surround the star in a circle and occupy its center. Thus, Heavenly and Hellish magic are combined into a single spell glyph of Magus's own, secret design."
