@fantasyanime.bsky.socialReposted by @metalgearsurvive.bsky.socialHappy Anniversary to Shining Force 2! 🎂🥳🎉 Released on the Sega Genesis in North America on this day in 1994, this classic strategy RPG gave us an awesome cast of playable characters and epic battles. Is Shining Force 2 one of your favorites?
@ela-bambust.bsky.socialReposted by @metalgearsurvive.bsky.socialIt's insane how people still try to whitewash TotalBiscuit. The man was partially responsible for gamergate even happening. That he died of cancer doesn't undo that, or unharass the women he sicced his fans on.
@metalgearsurvive.bsky.socialkeep in mind i haven't seen the new street fighter movie yet and you should dismiss any opinions i have on it on that basis, and also keep doing that After i've seen it because i famously have very bad taste in media and can't be trusted w criticism or praise
@metalgearsurvive.bsky.socialcapcom looking at the way people are reacting to the plot of street fighter 6 going nowhere and thinking "we should do more of that". thank you takayuki nakayama!

@nazihfares.comReposted by @metalgearsurvive.bsky.socialWhy do we keep on doing this? Praising a 'small core team' for a game with 1100+ people in the credits is incredibly misleading. This PR narrative hurts, hides the massive shadow workforce of outsourced developers and testers, and sets impossible standards for actual indie teams.
@metalgearsurvive.bsky.sociali am seeing more ryuken in a few days than i usually see in *months*, this is so fucking huge for me

@metalgearsurvive.bsky.socialfeeling a bit of your soul shrivel up every time someone goes "who cares about the story in fighting games?" 😭
@ponett.dogReposted by @metalgearsurvive.bsky.socialin bloodstained a villager solemnly asks you to retrieve mementos she can bury with her neighbors slain by demons. one such memento is a really good sword dropped by a specific enemy, and in exchange she gives you a pair of clown shoes that squeaks with every step. this is the essence of video games

@apricotmilkshake.neocities.orgReposted by @metalgearsurvive.bsky.socialjp is kind of really funny because like he's doing and allegedly doing all this shit (killed kimberly uncle, maybe yasmine brother, maybe arjun partner, etc) and every time he's confronted about it he goes "ok and? i'm literally normal. my condolences." and then leaves with no proper resolution
@trecomics.comReposted by @metalgearsurvive.bsky.socialI liked how they portrayed Ken in the movie, they really nailed him.
@metalgearsurvive.bsky.socialthe movie is getting more people into ryuken, we win
