The working members of society can’t get anything, while the members who can have everything don’t work at all.

With wars raging and working-class people struggling to make ends meet, it’s infuriating to see privileged people showing off their cars that literally do flips, as if that’s something worth bragging about. Imagine being that rich and that disconnected from reality. 🙄

I want to write a lot about identity because I love exploring its different layers, almost like the layers of an onion. I honestly think I could do a better job of exploring these topics than the author of Yellowface. 😏 I’m going to use my Substack for that. ✍️📚

Some people become the worst versions of themselves as they age. Their mental decline makes them lose the filters they had when they were younger, so they say whatever comes to mind and act however they want. Just look at the Orange Man.

As a foreigner, following American politics is kind of fun because it gives you a chance to predict what might happen around the world. It’s chaotic, but somehow still predictable. 😅

Some people lean so hard on symbols, slogans, and red hats because their ideas aren’t strong enough to stand on their own. That’s why they hide their aggression behind them.

I think some men, when they get older or face an illness, tend to form emotional connections with themselves and those around them. I believe this happens because patriarchy forces men to suppress their emotions.

Acting like goodness doesn’t need power means ignoring the power of evil.

It was once thought that male violence was simply a result of how boys are raised. But when we look at men and their families, it becomes clear that the way we teach boys to “be men” is itself harmful. We teach them to disconnect from emotions, vulnerability, and relationships.

Madness is rare in individuals; in groups, parties, peoples, and eras, it is the rule.

There’s nothing more terrifying than having old, repressed men in politics who are still trying to prove themselves to their fathers.
