Watching #PMQs on catch up - LOTO Badenoch pressurising PM Burnham on Jackdaw gas and Rosebank oil fields in North Sea. PM says he will be pragmatic. Badenoch attacks him on importing gas and approving the Sea Lion field in the South Atlantic.

NEW: Kemi Badenoch’s flagship party conference policy document, The Right Way, overestimated the cost of net zero by nearly £500bn, seemingly after someone accidentally double-counted figures on a spreadsheet.

A question from a member of the #Sustainability Leadership Roundtable has stuck in my brain for days - have we been sugarcoating #NetZero? And are we about to pay the price?

Andy Burnham's conference speech yesterday was refreshingly honest about a whole load of issues, but one he swerved was North Sea Oil & Gas. Here's my take...

Missed John Healey's conference speech as I was travelling, but, scanning the text, there is barely any mention of energy, clean or dirty - hmmm... labourlist.org/2026/09/john...

On the pod, Sara Bell of RIISE who disrupted UK energy markets via the courts, founded a low carbon fashion marketplace and wrote a book on purpose-led success.
