@iotar.mastodon.online.ap.brid.gy@iotar.mastodon.online.ap.brid.gyWhen I'm on holiday I eat whatever I like. And what do I like? Tesco's Czech microwave meals. Ones that taste of brown. Perfection.
@iotar.mastodon.online.ap.brid.gyWe are taking a train.
@iotar.mastodon.online.ap.brid.gyA couple of albums that I found today for two euros a piece.
The Boney M sent me down a rabbit hole about Frank Farian, and I discovered amongst other things that he wrote a 370 page book about why he felt that Dieter Bohlen of Modern Talking was a fraud […]
@iotar.mastodon.online.ap.brid.gyOkay, I think we've got at least one more album in us this year. Watch this space in particular.

@iotar.mastodon.online.ap.brid.gy@iotar.mastodon.online.ap.brid.gy@iotar.mastodon.online.ap.brid.gy@iotar.mastodon.online.ap.brid.gyPicked up a double-album of music from the soundtrack of the groundbreaking late 90s anime series Cowboy Bebop. Yoko Kanno's soundtrack music with her band The Seatbelts is rightfully legendary, and moves from big band jazz to funk to blues to... eclectic […]

@iotar.mastodon.online.ap.brid.gyAn album track, that I would have put out as a single, given the live treatment.

@iotar.mastodon.online.ap.brid.gyAfter all that Magyar rock, a switch over to Germany: Eroc from Grobschnitt with his 1979 album. Good powerful sound and a strong moustache game.

Just remembered the new album is here. It's long enough after recording that I can't remember how the fuck you do this stuff, so I can now enjoy it in and of itself. Wow, that analogue echo sounds gorgeous.
It'll take about a month more […]
@iotar.mastodon.online.ap.brid.gyNew T-shirt just dropped, bae, and it was under two euros in Woolworths.
@iotar.mastodon.online.ap.brid.gyMore Magyar rock on vinyl. This time it's V'Moto-Rock's second album from 1980. V'Moto-Rock, a supergroup featuring Lerch István and Herpai Sándor of jazz-prog trio V'73 and Demjén Ferenc of Bergendy, as well as guitar god Menyhárt János, were far punchier […]
@iotar.mastodon.online.ap.brid.gyMy first Omega gatefold, Gammapolis from 1979, sounds as enormous as it looks.

Absolute banger
@iotar.mastodon.online.ap.brid.gyNot usually a big fan of Korean indie, or indie in general, but Luli Lee's latest album, like Mudd the Student's solo album earlier this year is getting frequent revisits.

@iotar.mastodon.online.ap.brid.gy@algebraicterror Aw shit! I would have eaten them for you, although maybe the mere presence of them will fuck up the baguette. I'm like that with celery in salads.
