@wilds.bsky.socialThe Furious (2025) is a martial arts film with excellent fights, solid camera work, and decent characters. The colors are muted, like some scenes have an odd filter. The tone is strange, with serious subjects, then a couple of comedic moments like meleeing each other with bikes, and a brutal ending.
@wilds.bsky.socialRomeo+Juliet (1996) is something we might dare call a classic, even if I remember my high school teacher burying it before the film. The visuals, soundtrack, and Mercutio are stunning in this presentation of Shakespeare, and it was great seeing it again after so long.
