PHP RFCs are now on externals: externals.io/rfc
You can see RFCs, the votes, their related discussions…
and the community can now vote on them!
ok everyone. tomorrow. 24 hours from now the ternary brothers are assembling on the jetbrains rooftop
we’re building the best social media planet earth has ever seen (all live on youtube)
stack: air + laravel + php
Moi je comprends pas ce point de départ : un script et une skill juste ça marche, j’ai pas les problèmes que tu mentionnes
I created the `/address-pr-review` skill for PRs:
- reads CI status and comments
- skips resolved comments
- considers each comment: fix the code or push back
- replies in GitHub
- loop until done
All the review is now in the PR, I love it
Also shipped:
- bref deploy fixed when FORCE_COLOR is set (CLI 1.3.1)
- networks and databases in ca-central-1 and us-west-1
- BREF_STACK_NAME env variable
- osls 4.4: CloudFormation express mode
- gmp and igbinary for PHP 8.5

Heads up: the new AWS sign-up form (log in with Google, GitHub, etc.) creates a restricted "AWS project". Bref can't connect to those, and other limits apply, like which regions you can use.
Use the classic "Sign up for AWS (advanced)" instead.
The Bref docs are easier to use for AI agents:
- bref.sh/llms.txt lists every page
- bref.sh/llms-full.txt is the whole documentation in one file
- add .md to any page URL to get Markdown
When a deployment fails, Bref now shows the actual error from AWS at the top of the deployment page and in the terminal, instead of a vague CREATE_FAILED line. That helps AI agents too: with bref logs, they can figure out why a deploy failed and fix it.
Laravel and Symfony logs now include the Lambda request ID.
Click it in the dashboard to see all the logs of that request, with its duration, memory, and X-Ray trace. Traces show their logs too.
The bref CLI now shows your logs and deployments:
bref logs --env=prod --since=1d --search=error
bref deployments:logs --env=prod
Noisy lines are hidden, Monolog logs are parsed, and the output adapts when an AI agent runs it.
Moving a Laravel app from Vapor to Bref? There's now a complete migration guide.
(And bref-upload replaces Vapor.store() with the same flow.)
Multiple SQS queues with Laravel: dispatch jobs with onQueue('emails') like in any Laravel app, and map queue names to SQS queues with Queue::forward().
The docs now cover it: bref.sh/docs/larave...
Lambda limits HTTP requests to about 6 MB, so large files have to go straight from the browser to S3.
bref/laravel-bridge 3.1 makes it simple: a presigned URL route, a JS helper (bref-upload) with progress, and an UploadedToS3 validation rule.
Just sent the Bref newsletter:
- simpler file uploads with Laravel
- multiple SQS queues
- a guide to migrate from Vapor
- logs in the terminal, and the logs of a single request
- clearer deploy errors

Create DSQL databases in Bref Cloud and use in Laravel with `bref/laravel-dsql`
Great for new apps. For existing apps it might be harder, read the differences -> bref.sh/docs/enviro...
Hello Aurora DSQL 🤩 - PostgreSQL compatible, creates in <1min - no instances, scales to zero, no cold start - billed per request, starts at $0 - redundant & multi-AZ OOTB - no VPC/NAT
Yep! Just to see what’s possible
all this talk about Rust vs PHP, what if we got both instead? `php artisan dev` running Rust in Laravel with hot-reload
Similar idea, I wanted a skill that can handle complete _and_ incomplete issues (same process), and that would go all the way to the pr
