Jealousy, longing and old hurts are all close to the surface today, and pride wants to throw them at someone before lunch. If we can hold the fire a little longer…..the honest version arrives by evening. Today's Mantra: I feel it all, and I choose my words with care.

This week the sky hands us a map through the US midterms. The sky shows a result, a refusal & a long, loud standoff, & it shows which way the current runs underneath all three. Trump’s chart is about to get very loud.

This week, everywhere we looked, pain was being passed along to whoever happened to be standing closest. From one side of the globe to the other, everyone was handing it on, & hardly anyone seemed willing to hold it.

We wake up a bit raw today, and whatever flared up with someone close is still sitting in the room. By evening it's hitting deeper than it did at the time…..and the urge to explain it all is strong. Today's Mantra: I let the feeling settle before I speak.
