@basementcorner.bsky.social
Experimental net label primarily focused on harsh noise, noise wall, ambient, and drone. Mission is to subvert norms in the noise 'scene' and bring fresh projects to new ears.
@basementcorner.bsky.socialBCE #1282: RDKPL - maDFly
The sound of electrical lines overhead going on the fritz. The noise of transistors in a chronic dissolute state. New work from a solid and prolific project.
@basementcorner.bsky.socialBCE #1281: Half Movement - The Bass Gets Lost In The Void
It's as if something buried in the miasma is trying to dig its way out. Crunchy, squelchy noise from a solid practitioner of the form.
@basementcorner.bsky.socialPlay of 9 'Offshore' on the latest Institute of Spectra-Sonic Sound. Thanks to @spectrasonicsound.bsky.social
@basementcorner.bsky.socialBCE #1280: Lord Cernunnos / Hana Haruna - Geologic Time
The noise of eons of geologic history condensed into stand-alone walls. Full-on mass of sound from Lord Cernunnos, scrape and scree from Hana Haruna.
@basementcorner.bsky.socialBCE #1279: Crepuscular Entity - Shrine
A couple chunks of harsh noise I came up with while mucking about with gear and pedals in different combinations and trying out some new ideas. Experiments that turned out reasonably well and that I present to you now.
@basementcorner.bsky.socialBCE #1278: Rumonoise / Hana Haruna
A Soviet brutalist architecture wall from Rumonoise, that brutalism in crumble mode from Hana.
@basementcorner.bsky.socialBCE #1277: Sacha Syntax - CPU stress test
Testing the limits of your head in a pure noise outing. The sounds of equipment pushed to extremes and somehow surviving.
@basementcorner.bsky.socialBCE #1276: I,Eternal / Crepuscular Entity - Humor Us
Welcome return to the label of I,Eternal. Mr. Jovet was a huge help to me when I started doing noise and I owe him a lot. And his excellent track here encouraged me to do my best with my CE track.
@basementcorner.bsky.socialBCE #1275: Hana Haruna - Subtlety
An ironic title for a wall album but the subtleness is in degrees. The first track is controlled harsh, with distinct separated elements of burbling and crunching. The second dips into ambient walling with buried dynamics
@basementcorner.bsky.socialBCE #1274: Aura Lunar / Crepuscular Entity
Dark, scraping ambient drones mirroring the movements of the universe from Aura Lunar, sounds of the crushing creative force of stellar gas clouds from CE.
@basementcorner.bsky.socialBCE #1273: Lord Cernunnos - Olympic Mountains
A definitive tectonic wall. The sound of a mass of mountains pushing down on the underlying crust. Return to the label of the Lord, and a great reason to noisily worship the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
@basementcorner.bsky.socialBCE #1272: DTD / Crepuscular Entity
DTD brings us a demonically-charged asthmatic power electronics shot through with veins of caustic drones while CE pairs a harsh mash-up with a drone symphony of ill intent.
@basementcorner.bsky.socialBCE #1271: Skotokletchatyi - Heart Gout
Ferocious, unrelenting harsh from a skilled hand at the form. New noise project from the gentleman behind such great projects like Sleep Column and Autodestruction.
@basementcorner.bsky.socialReview of Sado Rituals' album 'Scattered Identity' released on BCE. Thanks to @musiquemachine.bsky.social for the review.
@basementcorner.bsky.socialBCE #1270: Kadaveric Kommando - Knell
Intense crumble on an epic scale. A wall to end all walls? Regardless, one that is a totality of mortar and bricks remaining massive despite it's dissolution.
@basementcorner.bsky.socialBCE #1269: Insomnia Shaman - Chambers Of Melatonia
Noise definitely impacted by the use of mind-altering substances. Psychedelic drones and grit in one head trip track after another. A solid project from the gentleman behind Necroviolence.
@basementcorner.bsky.socialBCE #1268: Sado Rituals - Scattered Identity
A welcome return to BCE of a classic project. A master mason has produced a wall of deep sub rumble surfaced with a light plaster of crackling electrical spiking. A goosebump inducing noise mass.
