👋 And that’s a wrap!

The 8th #SELINAWorkshop closes with a symbolic handover to our colleagues from VITO in Belgium.

From Latvia to Brussels, the work continues — with key messages, actions and responsibilities now ready to carry forward.

@project-selina.eu

🌍 What will SELINA leave behind?

Partners are now turning their attention to impact — identifying concrete Policy, Business, Science and Society impacts that can help shape the project’s legacy and final briefs.

⚖️ Research impact also means responsibility.

Today we also explored principles for the responsible application of research results, bringing equity and justice into the conversation and identifying where SELINA’s principles still need refinement.

🌱What can SELINA bring to the implementation of the Nature Restoration Regulation?

Partners are discussing stakeholder perspectives, scientific and governance challenges, and where SELINA’s indicators, assessments and guidance can add value.

🗣️Lost in translation? Not for long!

Today’s session brings the SELINA Task Force together to align on the translation workflow — while collecting the sector-specific terms and “buzzwords” that matter when communicating across fields.

📘 Guidance takes centre stage.

Session 9 of the #SELINAWorkshop brings the consortium up to date on SELINA’s Compendium of Guidance, clarifying what remains to be done, who will take it forward and how co-creation will shape the final tool.

Back around the table for Day 3 of the #SELINAWorkshop.

🔄 Today we are reflecting on the lessions learned, and building on the session disccussions from Tuesday.

👉 The focus is shifting from ideas to what we can take forward.

🌊 Day 2 of the #SELINAWorkshop took us outside!

All partners explored the Vidzeme coast along the Gulf of Riga and the Baltic Sea. This gave us a great chance to connect the discussions from the conference room with the landscapes and ecosystems at the heart of our work.

@project-selina.eu

🔎 Time to get practical!

In today’s use-case breakouts, our partners are identifying user needs, relevant project materials, gaps and adaptations.

The result? Concrete Use Case Capture Sheets to take the discussion into the next sessions. #SELINAWorkshop

From evidence to action: Session 4 looks at what enables lasting collaboration between public and private actors.

🤝 These insights will help shape practical recommendations for stronger evidence-informed governance and decision-making. #SELINAWorkshop

@project-selina.eu

Now we’re putting dialogue into practice. 💬

In our #SELINAWorkshop, partners explore how working with a system — rather than developing recommendations for it — can help turn different perspectives into pathways towards action.

🌱 How does ecosystem evidence actually reach decision-makers?
Session 2 of the #SELINAWorkshop explores lessons from SELINA’s Demonstration Projects, looking at what worked, what didn’t and how ecosystem services can better support public-sector decisions.
