But, but… offering Alberta’s water to Americans is “ridiculous.”
Offering it to massive, U.S.-owned AI data centres? Apparently that’s different. 🤔
#ABPoli

Meme-style four-panel graphic featuring Alberta Premier Danielle Smith. The top-left panel shows Smith with a serious expression beneath the label “Danielle Smith.” The top-right panel reads, “OFFERING ALBERTA’S WATER TO AMERICANS.” The bottom-left panel shows Smith smiling and raising one hand. The bottom-right panel reads, “OFFER ALBERTA’S WATER TO AI DATA CENTRES.” The contrasting facial expressions and repeated wording create a satirical comparison between Smith calling the reported offer of Alberta water to Americans ridiculous and concerns about water being made available for AI data centres.

Remember these oldies from flip history.
A couple of throwbacks from 2025. Some things never change.
#ABPoli

Infographic titled “Guaranteed to Flip: The Danielle Smith Promise.” The design features a yellow-orange background with a raised interlocking brick border that transitions from green on the left to orange on the right. In the upper-right area, a LEGO-style female politician figure with brown hair, a worried expression, a blue shirt and a red apron labelled “QUEEN OF THE FLIP” flips golden pancakes onto a black griddle, with additional pancakes flying through the air. The image satirizes Danielle Smith’s broken political promises about healthcare coverage.

The infographic documents three examples. First, April 2023, the UCP Health Care Guarantee: Smith pledged that no Albertan would pay out of pocket to see a doctor or receive needed medical treatment, and promised not to delist medical services or prescriptions covered by Alberta Health Insurance. Second, February 1, 2025, seniors’ eye exams delisted: the infographic states that the UCP government removed public coverage for follow-up vision exams for seniors and children, requiring Albertans to pay for additional visits related to conditions such as glaucoma and cataracts. Third, June 2025, public COVID-19 vaccine coverage withdrawn: the infographic states that Alberta ended universal coverage for COVID-19 vaccines, with only high-risk groups receiving them at no cost while most Albertans, including seniors, must pay. A quoted statement attributed to Danielle Smith reads, “We believe in vaccine choice, but we don’t pay for everything.” The overall message is a political critique of changes to healthcare coverage under Smith’s leadership.Political satire infographic titled “NO ONE’S TOUCHING YOUR PENSION… (just flipping it).” The design uses a yellow-orange background framed by a raised interlocking brick border transitioning from green on the left to orange on the right. A LEGO-style female politician figure with brown hair, a worried expression, a blue shirt and a red apron labelled “QUEEN OF THE FLIP” flips golden pancakes onto a black griddle, with several pancakes flying through the air. The pancake-flipping imagery symbolizes changing promises and is used to criticize Danielle Smith’s statements about Alberta’s pension plan.

The infographic presents two dated examples. First, May 2023, Election Campaign: Smith reassured Albertans, “Look, no one is touching anybody’s pension. Pensions belongs to pensioners,” with the quotation reproduced as shown in the graphic. Second, September 21, 2023, APP Campaign Launch: Smith characterized the Alberta Pension Plan launch as a once-in-a-generation opportunity, emphasizing intergenerational benefits and repeating the line, “It’s your pension, your choice.” Both statements are attributed to Danielle Smith. The overall message questions the consistency of Smith’s assurances about pensions and the proposed Alberta Pension Plan.

“Not as long as I’m premier,” -man the polling must be bad. But she is a flip flopper cause a month ago she was going to hold one. Think a spring election is coming cause this Dani is scared. #abpoli

When you watch her facial expressions right after she claims she won't hold another referendum, there's a total micro-expression breakdown. You see her bite her lip to hold back a reaction, and then immediately flash that classic 'duping delight' smirk when she thinks people are buying it. #abpoli

“DUPING DELIGHT” with the headline “When you think they actually bought the lie.” Two side-by-side close-up photographs show Alberta Premier Danielle Smith with slightly different facial expressions, ending in a subtle smirk. A dark navy-blue caption box with a thin light border overlays the bottom of the images and reads: “Danielle Smith after saying, ‘Not as long as I'm Premier’ — the smirk of someone who thinks she got away with a lie.” The design uses bold black sans-serif text on a white background for the heading and headline, with bold white text on the navy-blue caption box. The meme uses Smith’s facial expressions to convey the creator’s critical, sarcastic interpretation of her statement. #ABPoli

Hint: if they lose—in Smith’s CBC interview she says that means less than 50%—she’s out. Buckle up Alberta, there is NO EVIDENCE to suggest this assault against our sovereignty will stop on Oct 19. Get everyone you know to vote no & vote remain. Only a massive wave of decent will stop the crazy.

And how many are flat earthers? How many are anti-vaxers, believe that the Christian Bible should be part of the curriculum or women shouldn’t vote, or that abortion is murder?

I’m so honored to have the support of Fort Myers City leader Johnny Streets. His exemplary career serving the people of our city is a lead we should follow. Elect a servant leader to the Florida House. Make your plan to vote for me, Cindy Banyai, by November 3. #election2026 #hd78 #fortmyers

Ethics are important. Elected officials should not abuse their position of power. Not to enrich their friends or family. Not to gain sexual favors. Not for political gain. Public office should be about service. #election2026 #hd78 #fortmyers #endcorruption

October Calendar with election dates

October 2026 voting calendar for the Alberta referendum, presented as a large monthly calendar with voting deadlines and key dates highlighted. The calendar runs Sunday through Saturday, with Sundays shown in red.

Key information shown on the calendar includes: October 9, highlighted in red, with the message “LAST RECOMMENDED DAY TO MAIL your completed special ballot package.” A yellow sticky note also says “Mail ballot package back 9.” October 12 is labeled Thanksgiving Day. A green highlighted bar spanning October 13 through October 17 reads “ADVANCE VOTING,” with arrows pointing in both directions.
