We are doing an october challenge again but this time instead of drawing I decided to practice writing. I used to really like writing in middle school but I haven't really written anything since then. Let's see if anything comes out of this 😅

I have already cosplayed from it once when I was 16yo (it wasn't an appropriate cosplay for a teenager tbh...) but my life goal is to make Beatrice's dress some day! I also want to make other cosplays from it hehe

Happy Umineko day!!! Umineko is probably the most life changing piece of media that I have experienced. Not only in a "wow this is so good" way but also in a "i have learned so much from this" way. I love how hard it believes in it's message no matter what. I'll continue rereadin Umineko forever

I guess part of it is bc as a costume it was so out of my comfort zone to even make 😭 but I'm bummed that I feel this way because he happens to be my favourite character from the game

I'm fairly happy with how the Gaius cosplay turned out but there are some things i'd like to add like more weathering/aging, the masks, remake some foam pieces and make/print the weapon but for some reason I lost all motivation after Tracon.... all of this means just spending even more money...

Yeah it's a shame that it was a person that I have known since elementary school. But clearly they have a very different approach to entrepreneurship than me. Like it's completely normal to not want to expand and just stay as a small business 😭 it's still a normal job

I agree! And on my field of work pretty much the only way I can currently earn money is to have my own business so the goal is to just do something I like and be able to live normally like everyone else. It should be common sense that not everyone is aiming for huge profits...

But also I have been told that my business is not so serious because I'm not aiming for high profits and my only goal is to be able to earn enough to live comfortably so I guess it's just a huge difference in values

I "get" that people see using genAI as pure profit but it really cheapens the business as a whole. I hate that other business owners talk to me like genAI is so normal

I'm a small business owner and I find it extremely worrying how normalized AI is among local business owners. I don't think I have met any locals who are also anti-AI. I had to turn down an invite to a gathering because of the horrific AI usage. I hate that it's a "small business thing" now
