@thewoollyone.bsky.socialI'll never get that mentality. Therapy is not magic, I cannot wave a wand and make your kids talk about their trauma or cast a spell and fix their mood. Parents/guardians really sometimes fail to understand that their kids need time to heal and I need time to help them get there. It's not instant.
@thewoollyone.bsky.socialUsually if a client gets pulled off my schedule it fills me with anxiety that I didn't do my job properly. Today it happened and it's the opposite. I know I did everything I could and did well by the client, but the guardians to this kid didn't think I was "fast enough". I'm so frustrated.
