This doesn't hugely affect me as a non-US viewer, but I'm curious what others think?

Some things to note:
- Sunday Night Rugby to continue (great!)
- Alex Magleby: 'We’re focused on making MLR easier to watch for fans everywhere with additional announcements soon.'👀

#MLR2027

Only 6 #MLR matches finished within 7pts in #MLR2026.

On average, 2026 winning margins (17.2) were far above all-time (11.5) but the #ChicagoHounds dominance is definitely a factor. 22pt average winning margin it nuts!

Jones will join fellow test capped Canadian and former Toronto Arrow Shane O'Leary in Nottingham for their 2026/27 season!

Agustin Cavalieri's #NARDB Profile has been updated following his move to @oldglorydc.bsky.social, and it can be found under the 'Staff' tab on the Flag's team page below!

2018 & 2026 are #MLR's 'smallest' full seasons in terms of games and teams but 2020, which saw 30 games played before it was cancelled, bucks this trend.

Does a shorter season lead to higher scoring? Did RRS' implementation contribute to higher scoring in #MLR2026?

#MLRStats

The 2026/27 JRLO Season runs from December 2026 to late May 2027, which pretty much rules Robertson out from returning to @oldglorydc.bsky.social for #MLR2027

It might just be a company (Noldu) jumping on a dormant IG account with nearly 30k followers to kick-start a customer base.

The link mentions both Globant ( #MLR partner) and the Sharks, and a quick google found that Noldu CEO is none other than Milagros Cubelli...

The Miami Sharks IG page appears to have come back to life today, with their first post (just a black square) in over a year👀

The link goes to a 'Miami-based merch and experiences company'. It's the #MLR off-season, let the speculation begin!

#MLR2027

One, Glen Jackson, is probably one of the most experienced men in rugby, but new to #MLR

The other, Cuca Cavalieri, has plenty of MLR experience and a reputation for turning teams around.

How will they do in #MLR2027?

Pretty happy that I've managed to get this to work!

There are still hundreds of Player Profiles on @narugbydb.com that are 'empty' but I'm hoping this will encourage me to fill them out as they pop up!

Let me know who you get if you give the site a visit!

A few notes from the latest Inside MLR:

- Still at 5 teams for #MLR2027 right now. 6th team still possible, expansion is key.
- Players are signing contracts right now, announcements starting soon?
- Hints at pathway/feeder league to #MLR

Definitely worth a listen!

Over the #MLR off-season, I'm building a database on all players (men, for now) that have represented the USA or
Canada since the 2019 RWC

This includes debut, last cap, total caps, status, etc. With the hope of creating @narugbydb.com pages for the national teams soon!

A few weeks ago, Warner appeared in the #Stormers starting lineup for a pre-season game.

It turns out the @seawolves.rugby scrum-half has joined the URC side on loan until Feb 2027 as part of the partnership between the two sides, suggesting he'll return for #MLR2027!

The #CaliforniaLegion announce the appointment Glen Jackson as Head Coach for #MLR2027!

Jackson played with the Chief in #SuperRugby and was a Premiership centurion with #Saracens before becoming a pro ref in 2010!

He enters #MLR after serving as HC of the #FijianDrua!

My word,Canada are ON FIRE today!

The women tie England in Exeter, the first time that the #RedRoses haven’t won at home in TEN YEARS!

I cannot wait for the rematch in Toronto next month, see you there?

The Canada Men wrap up an impressive #PacificNationsCup campaign with a HUGE win over the USA in Tokyo!

Ranked 10 places higher than Canada, The USA finish a disappointing September 0-2. The Eagles haven't beaten Canada since 2024!

These numbers are based on #MLR2026 players. All-time, they're even better:

- 22 of the USA 23 have played in #MLR (95.65%)
- 10 of the Canada 23 have played in MLR (43.48%)
- 32 of the 46 players in tomorrow's match have played in MLR (69.57%)!
