Music loving Record (and CD) Collector
@dreamfuel.bsky.socialI only saw them do a warm up gig for that tour, but can't now remember what hits they did...the "Nowhere Is Home" box set has them doing "Listen.." & "What's She Like".. you might get lucky 🤞
@dreamfuel.bsky.socialSaw them on The Feminine Divine tour and they did that album in full, had a break and then did a kind of greatest hits...could be similar this tour, fingers crossed for you
@dreamfuel.bsky.socialMe neither, lovely thing to have...
@dreamfuel.bsky.socialTrying to persuade at least one of my 3 Grandsons that buying records is a fantastic hobby....no luck so far!
@dreamfuel.bsky.socialAll this Dexys talk started with my #WeekendSingles post including that unusual Dexys single and then Ged moved it on to why wasn't "Listen To This" a single...
@dreamfuel.bsky.social😂 Very relaxing
@dreamfuel.bsky.socialAll this Dexys talk has got me to "Listen To This"
@dreamfuel.bsky.socialAfter a rather expensive week, time for an epic cleaning session....about half done..
@dreamfuel.bsky.socialIt's only an hour away, gotta new motor, got the time, just need my first State Pension payment...
@dreamfuel.bsky.socialIt would've made a great single, possibly the most Dexys like song on the Album, could've been a big hit...they did a great version on The Tube...(needs an expert to clean it up, the film is showing its age) there was even a proper video...
@dreamfuel.bsky.socialProbably played YP once when I got it, played "Lady" an awful lot more..
@dreamfuel.bsky.socialReally grown to love Young Parisians down the years, bit of a curveball at the time!
@dreamfuel.bsky.socialI've far too much self control for that kind of thing.... After that we were walking back to the car to head home when we spotted a charity shop we hadn't noticed before...just have a quick look I said, upstairs was absolutely packed with records 😳 I found 2 LPs at £2 each and came home with 52p!!
@dreamfuel.bsky.socialIt did...the last thing I found, just gone over the £200 mark for the week when I spotted a box of singles on the floor...What's another tenner, I thought 😳
@dreamfuel.bsky.socialSpent most of the day picking up and peeling walnuts, hundreds more to do..if ever you're looking at a house and it has an established walnut tree in the garden,do not get convinced it's a good thing..it's not!
Lots of interest in my unusual Dexys single, so here's it's 12" Sister
@dreamfuel.bsky.socialA little sister to the 12" one i'm just about to post
@dreamfuel.bsky.socialI feel for you, unfortunately it does mean i'm nearer 70 than 60😢
@dreamfuel.bsky.socialThanks Tony, just finished week one, went to Felixstowe and spent over £200 in the record shops there...won't be able to keep that up 😳
@dreamfuel.bsky.socialCheers, Andrew, it's a Dexys I've never seen before, a lovely little single
@dreamfuel.bsky.socialDoesn't it look lovely 😍 exactly the right sleeve according to BigBoppa, thank you again.. The one EC I was missing from his earlier years, and a very unusual Dexys..
