Comments due by 10/13.

Comments provide the paper trail that may slow down implementation near-term and reverse decisions in the long-run. Although researchers are likely to provide context on impact, anyone (from the public to patient advocates) can weigh in.

What makes comments significant:
1. The number of independent voices
2. Specific, evidence-based arguments
3. Consistent messages without copy-paste flooding

RFI comments DO matter! OMB’s proposed research funding rules drew nearly 497,000 public comments. Congress later delayed implementation through Dec. 11, 2026. Comments alone may not have caused this, but they help put concerns on the record and shape science policy. Make your voice heard!
