Aging may lengthen our lipids 🧬 Chain length rises with age across mice, worms, flies & humans. Knocking down Plb1 in worms reversed it and extended lifespan. Worm data only for lifespan.

Incredibly odd story coming out of Europe (France/Netherlands/Belgium) An apparent hacking incident has led to customer support, online checkouts and other IT related disruptions to Supermarkets. This hack has also impacted refrigeration systems as well causing food to go rotten

Ukraine did the world a huge favour blowing up one of Russia's bot farms, but it's only the tip of the iceberg. Twitter needs removed from the world's stage and all other social media needs regulated like any other publisher. Until that happens, nothing changes

Timothée Chalamet wearing a mask while out and about on October 12. He knows that viruses like Covid are airborne and masks can help protect him.

In my experience, “treatment for this disease primarily consists of supplements and lifestyle changes,” is code for “this is a debilitating disease that we haven’t bothered to study enough to actually develop meaningful treatments.”

Please do not use blue surgical masks which leak air round the sides. Please use FFP2/3 (or N95/99) which are close-fitting and give much better protection against AIRBORNE VIRUSES.

This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for friends who still take rapid tests for me before we eat together. It's the small things - that are actually big things & go a long way! 💞

Labour have promised for over 100 years that they would abolish the House of Lords, yet we still have unelected millionaires and failed MPs creating laws in the UK. The only way to build a truly democratic Scotland is with independence. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Space is no longer a distant frontier. It is part of Europe’s first line of defence.

My message at the Warsaw Security Forum today: Europe must deliver faster, protect better and build the sovereign capabilities needed to be secure and resilient.

Today we take a meaningful step towards a more complete Union. I welcome the decision to close three additional negotiating chapters with Montenegro and one more with Albania. This is thanks to the hard work of both countries. And the remarkable European spirit of their people.

It can be so hard to ignore the incessant message from the world that it’s too late. But it is far better to try than to lug around regret. Something I love about being older is how much faster I learn- I’m never really starting over because I always have that skill.
