Admittedly, Popplio just seemed like the cutest/coolest of the bunch to me, so I figured I had to go for that one. 😄

Ha, I'm already debating on the team I want in Moon. - The Starter? Probably Popplio. - I'm hacking in Kirb and Valk. Sue me. lol - Gotta get Lycanroc Midnight, of course! - Probably a Lycanroc Midday, too (if I can). - Last? I NEED an Alolan Marowak. I loved him in the anime! 😁

I've more or less wrapped up Super Mystery Dungeon. I don't know when I'll move on to Moon, but I might wait a little, given I finished Alpha Sapphire not too long ago. ...I'm so tempted to hack a Charmander and Treecko into my Moon save file. I want Kirb & Valk's journey to keep going! 😜

There's more post-game content, including finding rare treasures and whatnot, but I think most of it is just to fight and recruit more members (including the 'mon in the pic). I think the actual plot's done, so I may stop here. I might post my overall thoughts on the game, later!

Valk comes to, and the two best friends are reunited once again. Naturally, they get back to work soon after this, but they no doubt take comfort in the fact that, this time, neither of them is going anywhere. The duo's back! 🥹 ...We need new scarves. I miss them. lol

The lights combined into one, and... VALK'S BACK!!! 🥹 Turns out, Nuzleaf wasn't trying to get rid of Mew. It was a plan set up by both him and Ampharos to get Kirb's emotions to flair so strong, the scarf would react and bring Valk back. I've no idea how they figured this out, but... whatever! 😄

Kirb understood Nuzleaf's logic, but the thought of losing another friend, especially after losing his best friend recently, made him intervene and protect Mew. His emotions also surged, and... Huh? Why is his scarf reacting? Why is Mew reacting with the same light? WAIT...?? 😮

Days later, our new friend gets kidnapped. Nuzleaf believes Dark Matter survived and is resting inside of Mew, so he plans to get rid of him to prevent another catastrophe. We head out to stop him. ...I was playing on actual hardware. There's no glitch... they didn't give this part a background. 😅

We soon found that mew, but he knew nothing of Valk, nor did he seem to act like him, either. We concluded it's just a regular ol' Mew and started to leave, but he took a liking to Kirb and followed him home. For now, he's staying with us as a temporary party member.

We were told to talk to Xatu, and... wait, I think this is the same one from Red Rescue Team (I've met characters from other Mystery Dungeon games before this, actually). Anyway, he said Valk likely transformed back into Mew, and one was spotted in Mystery Forest. Onward!

After a brief mission, Kirb went off to sit by himself, with you-know-who on his mind. Soon, Ampharos (still a cool dude) showed up and shared a theory with Kirb. He believes Valk may still be around... and their magic scarves might be the key! Guess what just became priority #1? 😜

The end? THE END?? LIKE HELL, IT IS! You think I'm just going to leave things like this? Look at Charmander me's sad face! LOOK AT HIS FACE!! HE'S DEVASTATED!!! YOU THINK I'M LEAVING THINGS LIKE THIS??? 😤

No "lol jk I can stay" here. Valk's truly gone. As expected, Kirb's an emotional wreck. The credits roll... Look at what you did, game! You made Charmander Me cry! 😭

In an unexpected twist, especially compared to previous Mystery Dungeon games... it's not the human who has to leave, but Valk, himself. His role has ended, and now he's (presumably) forced to return back to his own time. ..........😢

Er... time for some bombshells. That light actually helped Valk regain some of his own memories. Turns out, he's a reincarnation of Mew, who sent himself into the future to deal with Dark Matter, since he couldn't successfully get rid of him the first time. And then... uh-oh...

A mysterious light appeared in the village, which Valk went to investigate. Kirb woke up a bit later and the two soon met up at their favorite spot. Kirb explained his concerns about being forced to leave, and just how much he wants to stick around and be with Valk. Aw... 🥹

It was said that Kirb, a human turned Pokemon, helped save the world a long time ago, and he apparently went back to the human world once he was done. He has an overwhelming desire to stay, and he hopes that'll be enough to keep him here this time. In truth, he really wants to be by Valk's side.
