Video Game randomizers might be the best thing to ever happen to games as a whole. It gives so many games new, fun ways to interact with the game and makes every debate over if a game (that has a randomizer) has replay value obsolete. Truly enjoyed all my randomizers so far.

Yes, that's not what I am arguing against. The core argument above was that you shouldn't buy a console because you are expecting that their might be a game you like in the future. If there is a game that interests you, it is worth the investment. Just don't expect a game that is not here yet.
My point is that you would only get a console for exclusives you want to play. I am not up to date on all releases, but to my knowledge there was DK Bananza with the release of the Switch but really not much else. I may be wrong though. Fire Emblem and Star Fox are recent additions, no?
But aren't these franchises the ones you'd most likely buy a switch for? Many other titles can be played on other platforms people might already have. For me, the only reason to buy a Switch is for exclusives that I can't play on my PC. Otherwise, the investment isn't worth it.
I've had tons of fun playing Riftbound, the League of Legends TCG. Way better than LoL itself and the community is awesome.
