Curious how you can help? We ask that you sign our petition for Wizards to voluntarily recognize our union, share it with your communities, and keep an eye on this account for future updates!
This morning, the D&D team and Magic's Studio X informed our leadership of our intent to unionize. We love the games we make and the work we do, and unionizing is how we protect that work.
If you can't make it to the march in person, you can also join the @nogamesforgenocide.com political education workshop on October 10 from 1-3pm EDT and read their article on the role of militarism and propaganda in the videogame industry: nogamesforgenocide.com/blog/call-of...
Our industry has deep ties with the US military and its allies, and the games we make often play a role in promoting militarism and manufacturing consent for endless war. As such, we have a responsibility to act and to organize against US imperialism.
We're organizing a contingent to attend the March for Palestine on Saturday, October 10 at 2pm at The Ring (730 Cathcart Street). We encourage other game workers to join us to take a stand against the ongoing war and genocide! Keep an eye out for our banner.
